Last week, TRB Insurance officially opened its new headquarters in Harlingen. Located next door to our Harlingen corporate office, the new space marks an important milestone for our insurance division, which has seen steady growth since 2022. 

A Community Celebration

The ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house brought together community leaders, business partners, TRB executives, and members of our Board of Directors. Jamie Brown-Rosas spoke on behalf of TRB’s leadership team, highlighting the new headquarters as a reflection of our continued investment in Harlingen and the Rio Grande Valley.

Special touches made the event memorable: the Harlingen Chamber of Commerce “Red Coats” joined the celebration, and Chamber President and CEO Javier de Leon recognized TRB’s long-standing support of the community. Guests enjoyed catering by Dos Olivos and refreshments from Samuel Frogs, while TRB intern and Texas A&M student Miah Zamora baked cookies as part of her study abroad fundraising efforts.

Building for the Future

Since its founding in 2022, TRB Insurance has grown from a staff of one to 36. Growth has come through both strategic acquisitions and the addition of new TRB Insurance leadership (Terri Lobianco and Jorge Garcia) and increasing staff in banking centers across the valley.

Ryan Newman, President of TRB Insurance, shared that the new headquarters represents both a moment to reflect on the division’s progress and a foundation for future growth. “The Valley is our home, and we are proud to make Harlingen the headquarters of TRB Insurance. This new home office solidifies our investment in the community and strengthens our ability to deliver trusted risk management solutions and local expertise for years to come,” Newman said.
