All banking centers are laser-focused on meeting their net new account goals. As a result, some are coming up with creative ways to meet these goals. Our Houston region and Blanco branch found creative and fun ways to reach their goals:
Cherry on Top
In June, Houston hit their net new accounts target for the first time! It was made possible by the dedication and hard work of the teams in Cypress and Memorial.
Every single new account opened was a referral account. Each banking staff member has made it their mission to make TRB, Everywhere All the Time, from morning coffee runs to weekend outings. Julissa Federman has several TRB marketing items that she keeps with her, and she also makes it a point to sport TRB apparel when she is on and off the clock.
To put a cherry on top, all staff members at both locations were treated to a surprise ice cream party to celebrate their big win. The Houston Executive management team was right there with them to congratulate and show appreciation to the team that hit their goal.

Classic Stache
Houston isn’t the only branch creating creative ways to celebrate new account wins. Blanco recently hit their new account milestone and celebrated in a very creative fashion:
Calen McNett, Market President, and Josh Walker, Branch Manager, bet to see who could bring in the most new money to the branch.
Calen and Josh buckled down, calling in every possible referral to win betting rights. In the end, Calen came out victorious by bringing in $9 million in new money. After the results came in, Josh asked Calen what they were betting for.
Calen replied with two words: Handlebar mustache.
