Something exciting happened last Tuesday, March 21st, for one of Texas Regional Bank’s valued team members!

Alex Meade, EVP Economic Development, was appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to serve on the Texas Transportation Commission. This group oversees TxDOT and takes care of our highways, aviation, rail, and public transportation systems.

Alex said he appreciates the appointment, “I’m grateful for the opportunities to serve on previous boards that have allowed me to better understand the needs of the State of Texas.” At Texas Regional Bank, we support our Lone Star State’s economic development efforts. Improving transportation infrastructure is a big part of that.

We thank Governor Abbott for choosing one of the outstanding leaders from “the people you know” at Texas Regional Bank.
