I’m proud to report, at the end of October, Team TRB has already exceeded last year’s total—and we’re still climbing. In light of this achievement, I’d like to shift our sights a bit as we prepare to close 2024 and lay a foundation for a year of service in 2025 with a fresh focus and a new challenge.
Since we began tracking our service hours, our total number of volunteers each month has steadily increased, yet our highest number of volunteers in any month is 90. This means we’re reporting impressive numbers of community service each month—with less than a quarter of our team in the game.
Our new challenge: Reach 40% of Team TRB engaging in community service; a rounded figure would be about 200 unique volunteers. If we can accomplish this, not only are we making Team TRB history, but more importantly, we are demonstrating to our communities just how invested we are in their success. Let’s go Team TRB!

Team TRB in the Spotlight
Each fall, TRB Denton reinforces its commitment to the local community by hosting a tailgate event that has evolved into a beloved tradition. Since 2009, the TRB tailgate has grown from a small gathering into a lively, community-wide celebration, uniting UNT fans, friends, and families under their beloved Mean Green flag.
As TRB Denton creates a space for fans to bond over shared pride in their community, the tailgate is a wonderful example of the many thoughtful ways Team TRB is integrating into the fabric of communities in regions across Texas. At TRB, relationship banking goes beyond transactions, and this enduring tailgate tradition is a testament to Team TRB’s dedication to fostering genuine connections.
