2026 Financial Literacy Month

March 31, 2026

April marks Financial Literacy Month, and across TRB, our teams are preparing to engage the communities we serve in a practical and meaningful way.

Financial literacy remains a clear need across our markets. From students learning the basics of money management to families navigating credit, budgeting, and long-term planning, access to relevant, easy-to-understand guidance continues to matter. At the same time, new education requirements in Texas are increasing demand for local partners who can step in and support financial education in schools and community settings.

This is where TRB shows up. Throughout April, we will focus on delivering financial literacy presentations across our footprint, meeting people where they are and providing information they can apply in their daily financial decisions.

Our 2026 Goal

Each TRB branch is expected to host a minimum of two financial literacy presentations during the month of April.

These presentations can take many forms, including classroom visits, small group discussions, community events, or brief sessions with local businesses. The priority is participation, consistency, and a shared effort across all markets.

Now Live: Financial Literacy Resource Hub

To support execution, we’ve built a centralized Financial Literacy Resource Hub on Team TRB. The objective: make it easy to move from idea to execution.

What you’ll find:

  • Ready-to-use and editable presentations
  • Event ideas for different formats and time commitments
  • Marketing materials to support local outreach
  • Guidance for planning, scheduling, and reporting

Getting Started

Start with partners you already know—schools, businesses, nonprofits, or community groups—and choose an event format that fits your existing relationships and schedule. If you’re engaging a new partner, begin with a simple format designed to introduce TRB and establish the relationship.

From there, the Resource Hub will guide the rest.
