Team TRB Earns Top Honors in Harlingen and McAllen

Readers in two South Texas markets recognized Team TRB in this year’s Readers’ Choice awards, naming TRB “Best” in four categories:

TRB was voted “Best Bank” in Harlingen and McAllen
TRB Mortgage “Best Mortgage” in McAllen
and Nora Koite “Best Banker” in Harlingen

Together, the honors continue several multiyear runs and recognize the consistency of our banking and mortgage teams throughout the Rio Grande Valley.

Six Consecutive Years in Harlingen

TRB was named Best Bank in Harlingen for the sixth consecutive year in the Valley Morning Star’s 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards.

The recognition belongs to our teams at Stuart Place Road and 77 Sunshine Strip, whose knowledge, accessibility and commitment to their customers continue to earn the confidence of the Harlingen community.

Nora Koite was also named Best Banker, extending TRB’s run in the category to seven consecutive years. Nora has built more than 25 years of banking experience in Harlingen, including 16 years with TRB. Her career spans lending, operations and direct support of bank leadership.

Banking and Mortgage Recognized in McAllen

TRB was named Best Bank in McAllen for the third consecutive year, while TRB Mortgage earned Best Mortgage for the fifth consecutive year in The Monitor’s 2026 Readers’ Choice Best of the Best awards.

The honors recognize our banking teams at McColl, 10th Street and 23rd Street, along with the mortgage professionals serving homebuyers and homeowners throughout the market.
