Starting in November 2022, you’ll start seeing flashes of TRB blue when shopping in your community, with our new contactless debit card.
Our new contactless debit card not only has a new look but has new functionality that I know our customers will love. With the contactless chip embedded in the card, customers can now tap to pay at checkout.
In addition to the speed of tapping to pay, contactless cards benefits include:
- Less wear and tear on the card – You’ve seen magnetic strips and chips wear out on your customers’ cards, preventing them from consistently working. The contactless chip will eliminate this issue.
- Better overseas – When it comes to contactless cards, European countries are years ahead of the United States.
- Improved security – Debit cards are less likely to be compromised when they aren’t inserted into a card reader.
